This privacy notice allows you to understand, even before accessing the various sections of the Website, how Celestial Gin (a brand of Ven Group s.r.l.) will process your personal data as described in the section “What Personal Data We Process and How We Collect It” (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Personal Data”). Celestial Gin will process your Personal Data in compliance with EU Regulation No. 2016/679 and national data protection laws (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Legislation”).
What Personal Data We Process and How We Collect It

Your navigation on the Website may result in the collection and subsequent processing of your Personal Data by Celestial Gin. When connecting to the Website, the IT systems and software procedures used for its operation automatically and indirectly collect certain information related to navigation, such as, for example,  “IP” addresses, domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Website, “URL” addresses of requested resources, time of the server request, etc., including through so-called “cookies” (as specified in the “Privacy Policy – Cookies”).

Additionally, the collection of your Personal Data may occur through the publication of Contributions (as defined below) by you, the content of which may include your Personal Data directly provided by you on social networks autonomously managed by third parties, such as, but not limited to, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “Social Networks”). By “Contributions,” we mean images, comments, catchphrases associated with the subject of the Website, content, and any other information conceived and published by you on Social Network pages dedicated to products of the various brands within the Celestial Gin group, including the image you may provide.

What Are the Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data and the Legal Bases

Celestial Gin may process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  1. Managing activities related to your use of the Website, including the publication of Contributions by you on Social Network pages dedicated to products of the various brands within the Celestial Gin group (as processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures);
  2. Order management for product shipments;
  3. Managing and performing obligations required by law (accounting, administrative, tax, etc.) that may be relevant due to activities carried out on the Website;
  4. Managing disputes and any litigation (as a legitimate interest of the Controller).

How Long We Retain Your Personal Data

To ensure compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality of processing, the Controller has identified different retention periods for Personal Data based on the individual purposes pursued:

  1. For managing activities related to your use of the Website, including the publication of Contributions by you on Social Network pages dedicated to products of the various brands within the Celestial Gin group, your Personal Data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to provide the service you requested;
  2. For managing and performing obligations required by law (accounting, administrative, tax, etc.), your Personal Data will be retained for the time strictly necessary for this purpose;
  3. For managing disputes and any litigation, your Personal Data will be retained for the time strictly necessary for this purpose and, in any case, no longer than the applicable statute of limitations.

Who Are the Recipients of Your Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be disclosed to and processed by:

(i) legal or natural persons acting as processors, carrying out outsourced activities on behalf of Celestial Gin (including IT service providers, Website managers); (ii) employees and/or collaborators of the Controller (including system administrators) who, operating under the direct authority of the latter, will be authorized to process your Personal Data. Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties unless the disclosure is strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations, authority requests, or to protect its rights, nor will it be disseminated.
Transfer of Your Personal Data Outside the European Economic Area

Personal data may be transferred to Third Countries outside the European Economic Area (in particular, the United States of America). Celestial Gin informs you that any transfer will occur in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, such as adopting Standard Clauses approved by the European Commission, selecting entities adhering to international programs for free data circulation or operating in countries deemed safe by the European Commission, and following the recommendations 01/2020 adopted on November 10, 2020, by the European Data Protection Board. Alternatively, transfers may be necessary based on one of the derogations under Article 49 of the GDPR, such as the informed consent of the data subject, to perform a contract to which the data subject is a party, or pre-contractual measures adopted at the data subject’s request, or a contract concluded between Celestial Gin and another natural or legal person in favor of the data subject, or for important reasons of public interest or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Your Rights Concerning the Processing of Your Personal Data

The Privacy Legislation grants you, as the data subject, numerous rights. In particular, you have the right to:

  1. obtain confirmation from the Controller of whether your Personal Data exists, even if not yet recorded, and its communication in an intelligible form, as well as access to your Personal Data (obtaining a copy) and related information (including the purposes of processing, categories and origin of Personal Data, categories of recipients to whom they have been or may be disclosed, retention period (when possible), and the rights exercisable);
  2. obtain from the Controller the rectification of your Personal Data and the completion of incomplete Personal Data;
  3. obtain from the Controller the deletion of your Personal Data without undue delay, among other things, when the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was processed or the legal basis for processing no longer exists;
  4. obtain from the Controller the restriction of processing your Personal Data, among other things, when you contest its accuracy or have objected to the processing, for the time necessary for respective verifications;
  5. receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as transmit it or, where technically feasible, obtain the direct transmission of your Personal Data to another data controller without hindrance, in cases where the processing is carried out using automated means and is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party;
  6. object to the processing of your Personal Data necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of the Controller or third parties;
  7. withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data for any of the purposes for which it was provided.
